At the end of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series, there was a new prophecy that referred to seven powerful demigods and the end of the world. In the new series, Heroes of Olympus, Rick Riordan will uncover these seven demigods and the adventure that awaits them- Jason woke up on a school bus one morning having no idea what was going on. As well, he no memory what so ever of who he was. He had been holding a girl's hand, a girl by the name of Piper. Also, apparently his best friend's name was Leo. What's weirder was he was on a field trip to the grand canyon with a class of delinquent children. Could these three friends be part of the new prophecy? And what has Percy and his friends been up to- or should I say where has Percy gone to?

In the future, the world would be split off into six factions; Abnegation(the selfless), Dauntless(the brave), Candor(the honest), Amity(the peaceful), and Erudite(the intelligent). Sixteen year old Beatrice is from the Abnegation faction. When a person is sixteen they must take the aptitude test to determine which faction they should join. A couple days later, there is a ceremony for each sixteen year old to choose the faction they must be loyal to for the rest of their lives. When Beatrice takes the aptitude test, there's a problem- she's Divergent. Being divergent was dangerous and it usually ended up in getting you killed.
