Jael Thompson has known for a while that her mother, while dead before she could ever meet her, was a demon. Her and her father had been running around the world, ever since Jael could remember, from something her father wouldn't reveal. Being half demon was always just a secret her father forced her to keep since the age of nine. Now, at sixteen, she's begun to grow tired of the running and the games that her father constantly plays. And slowly, she's begun to unravel the mystery and solve the puzzle that's haunted her her whole life. Each new surprise, from a new boy friend to a new uncle, brings her closer and closer to the answers. To make matters worse, the thing they've been running from has finely caught up.
