Mistfit by Jon Skovron
Jael Thompson has known for a while that her mother, while dead before she could ever meet her, was a demon. Her and her father had been running around the world, ever since Jael could remember, from something her father wouldn't reveal. Being half demon was always just a secret her father forced her to keep since the age of nine. Now, at sixteen, she's begun to grow tired of the running and the games that her father constantly plays. And slowly, she's begun to unravel the mystery and solve the puzzle that's haunted her her whole life. Each new surprise, from a new boy friend to a new uncle, brings her closer and closer to the answers. To make matters worse, the thing they've been running from has finely caught up.

Hex Hall
Hex Hall by Rachel Hawkins
Sophie came into her powers at age twelve, but even before then, her and her mom were forced to move from state to state. After sixteen years, Sophie and her mother have lived in 19 different states, and each one had ended with an incident that could possibly endanger both her and the rest of the "prodigym" in the world. The prodigym are creatures such as witches, faeries, shifters, and vampires. On the day where everything is supposed to turn out right(Prom), everything goes wrong. Sophie, while trying to help a girl get a date, casts a powerful love spell to help her get the captain of the football team. Unfortunately, Sophie has under estimated her own powers... again. The love spell has worked its magic too well and Sophie is left with yet another failed attempt at trying to make friends. But it gets worse, the girl had seen Sophie cast the spell and accused her of being a witch, endangering the safety of not only her identity, but the world of witches its self. She's sent to Hecate (Hex) Hall, a school for the Prodigym who have endangered the hidden knowledge of their species. Here, you'd think she'd be happy because she didn't have to hide herself anymore. She was free to be... Sophie. Of course, this was Sophie, and bad luck seemed to find its way to her no matter where she went.

The Lost Hero
The Lost Hero Rick Riordan
At the end of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series, there was a new prophecy that referred to seven powerful demigods and the end of the world. In the new series, Heroes of Olympus, Rick Riordan will uncover these seven demigods and the adventure that awaits them- Jason woke up on a school bus one morning having no idea what was going on. As well, he no memory what so ever of who he was. He had been holding a girl's hand, a girl by the name of Piper. Also, apparently his best friend's name was Leo. What's weirder was he was on a field trip to the grand canyon with a class of delinquent children. Could these three friends be part of the new prophecy? And what has Percy and his friends been up to- or should I say where has Percy gone to?

Percy Jackson
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by:Rick Riordan
Percy Jackson discovers that he is but the son of one of the greek gods. Yes, those greek gods. He's guided by his satyr friend Grover to Camp Half Blood, where the sons and daughters of the greek gods are trained for theit dangerous futures(of course, if they live that long). The series starts out with The Lightning Thief. The movie, no matter how good, does not do it justice. Percy is the victim of a prophecy that states he will determine the fate of the world when he turns sixteen. The years that build up to his sixteenth birthday are filled with adventure like no other. Percy and his friends experience battles with the beasts from greek mythology as Percy Jackson becomes a legend.

The Sisters Grimm
The Sisters Grimm by Micheal Buckley
The series was my very first love. This is the last released book, but The whole series is implied in this. It is the most phenomenal mystery, fantasy, etc. there has ever been.
Sabrina and Daphne Grimm are forced into awful foster homes after their parents go missing. After two years, their "grandmother", granny Relda, adopts them. Of course, their father said that their grandmother had died. Granny Relda takes the sisters to Ferryport landing and things take and unexpected twist. Sabrina and Daphne discover that the town is filled to the brim with Everafters, fairy tail characters but they don't like to be called that. They're all locked in the small town by the barrier, a magical wall that stops Everafters from leaving once they've entered. What's more, the sisters are decedents of the one and only Brothers Grimm. Their lives will never be the same.
